Ferdinand IV

3 Kreutzer 1653. A rare 3 Kreuzer from 1653, minted in the Teschen mint, shows the young Ferdinand IV with the royal crown and the titles of Roman Emperor, King of Hungary and Bohemia. The reverse of the coin is decorated with an Upper Silesian eagle with the Austrian coat of arms, symbolising the incorporation of Teschen into the Bohemian crown after the death of the last Teschen princess Elisabeth Lucretia. The coins from the mint in Teschen are very valuable, also because of the very short duration of the mint in Teschen, from 1653 to 1655. Teschen. Gabriel Görloff. 1,65 g. 21 mm. Ag
