Description
Stater (2nd half of 3rd century BC) (?), Athena / figure with eagle type, 5,87 g, 15 mm, Au,
Extremely rare!, Paulsen –; Kellner 1990, č. 2184; Lanz –; Flesche –; Kostur – Gášpár –,
about EF / EF | Light traces of corrosion. The image on the obverse was probably inspired by the 1/3 Stater of the Athena Alkidemos type. Due to the high purity of 98.3/98.2%, it is most likely a mintage from the second half of the 3rd century or from the turn of the 3rd and 2nd century BC.
